STRAWBERRY BREAD image

I like to make this bread and freeze it for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 c all purpose flour
2 c sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 eggs wel beaten
2 Tbsp canola oil
2 pkg frozen sliced strawberries

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2. Lightly grease two losf pan's. line the bottom of each pan with foil.
  • 3. In a large bowl , mix together flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, andsalt.
  • 4. Make a well in center of thie mixture.
  • 5. Pour eggs and oil into well.
  • 6. Stir until dry ingredients just become moist
  • 7. Pour strawberries into a containner.
  • 8. With a slatted spoon, dip out strawberrsand gently stir into mixture.
  • 9. Then add juice graduly, stirring until batter is proper consistency.
  • 10. The amount of juice varies in strawberries when thawed.
  • 11. The batter should not be thin.
  • 12. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
  • 13. Let cool in pans for 15 minutes.
  • 14. Loosen sides of loaf pan's with a knife.
  • 15. Cool completely before sliceing.
