Strawberries, Jello and Angel Cake image

This is a great dessert for diabetics or any one wanting to cut out sugar. Also, very refreshing and satisfying.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 large pkg. (6oz) strawberry jello (i use sugar free)
2 pint(s) strawberries, cleaned, hulled and crushed or put through food processor
1 - angel food cake, broken into chunks
1 - 8 oz. container cool whip, (i use sugar free)

Steps:

  • Make jello according to pkg. directions, stir in crushed strawberries. Refrigerate until jello is thick and partially jelled; stir to distribute strawberries. In large bowl or triffle dish, layer angel food cake chunks, jello and cool whip; repeat until all ingredients are used. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
