Stirfry Imitation Crab image

This is a great recipe when in a hurry for something good to eat..this is my go to recipe when I crave some crab stir fry and only have imitation crab on hand. It is very tasty.

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 Tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c red bell pepper , cut into strips
1 c snow peas
1/2 c button mushrooms, coarsely chopped
1 tsp ground ginger
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp red pepper flakes,optional
1/2 c stir fry sauce
12 oz imitation crabmeat,pulled apart
soy sauce to taste, if desired
4 c cooked rice

Steps:

  • 1. Heat oil in non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Stir vegetables, ginger,pepper flakes and garlic. Cook stirring often, until barely tender( cover with lid and add a little water if using fresh vegetables- not necessary if using packaged frozen stir fry vegetables). Add sauces and crab and stir to combine. Serve over cooked rice and soy sauce ,if desired. .
  • 2. stir fry sauce- you can use either kind of sauce- or make your own.(from a bottle or sauce from a pouch of sauce). You can also use frozen instead of fresh vegetables.
