STEAK WITH GREEN SAUCE image

Number Of Ingredients 13

-2lb boneless beef grilling steak (about 1.5 inches thick)
-1.5 each coarse salt and pepper
GREEN SAUCE
-1/2 c. chopped green onions
-1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
-1 c. chopped fresh cilantro
-1 clove garlic, minced
-3 T water
-1 tomato, finely diced,
-1/3 c. olive oil
-3 T red wine vinegar
-3 T lemon juice
1/4 t salt

Steps:

  • Sprinkle both sides of steak with salt and pepper; press to adhere. Grill over med-high heat, until medium rare, 8-10 minutes (turning once) Transfer to cutting board, tent with foil and let stand 5 minutes before thinly slicing across the grain. GREEN SAUCE. Combine onions, parsley, cilantro, garlic and water (in magic bullet or food processor if available, not entirely necessary though) Stir in tomato, oil, vinegar, lemon juice and salt. Spoon over steak and feast!!!
