1/2 teaspoon(s) black pepper
3 cup(s) fresh spinach
3 tablespoon(s) pecans or pine nuts

1/2 large onion slivered

Steps:

  • Place the steak in a bowl large enough to marinade it. In a small bowl add the brown sugar, balsamic, worcestershire, garlic and onion and massage it in with your hands on both sides of the steak. I marinade overnight but 1 hour will suffice.
  • In a medium bowl add the evoo, white wine vinegar, gorgonzola, garlic and onion and whisk until emulsified. and set aside.
  • Place the spinach, blueberries and pecans in a large salad bow . Pour over dressing and toss by hand until thoroughly mixed. Place in refrigerator.
  • In a separate saute pan add 2 TBS of olive oil and on a medium heat saute onions until caramelized and crispy. Grill your steak until desired doneness and allow to rest 5 minutes. Place salad mixture on a platter and place steak in the center. Garnish onions on top of steak.
