Steps:
- 1. Fry bacon at medium-high heat until crispy. Cut into small pieces, set aside, and leave half of the bacon grease. 2. Begin to boil water for Spaghetti, meanwhile begin preparation for sauce. 3. Heat bacon grease in a deep set saute pan to medium heat, add onions and garlic. Cook until onions are translucent. 4. Add lean ground beef or turkey and cook until it is no longer pink. 5. Stir in tomato puree, bacon, and basil, let simmer uncovered on low heat for about 20 minutes. 6. Boil the Spaghetti according to the instructions on the box, drain and add to sauce. 7. Mix pasta and sauce until combined, plate and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. 8. Enjoy!
