Spicy Mexican Cheese Dip image

1 lb ground beef
1 lb hot sausage
1 onion, finely chopped
2 lb block Velveeta Cheese
1 can green chilies (mild-hot it's your preference)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Crushed red pepper to taste (optional)

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef, sausage and onion together in pan until brown. Drain off excess grease.
  • Place meat mixture and remaining ingredients in crock-pot and turn on "High" until cheese has melted, stirring occasionally.
  • After cheese has melted, turn crock-pot to "Low" or "Warm". Serve with tortilla chips or warm pita bread.
