Spicy Dipping Sauce image

Excellent spicy dipping sauce served hot with meatballs or spareribs. Easy to make with one saucepan. If you like it really spicy, add more curry powder and horseradish.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Heat butter in small saucepan over moderate heat.
  • Add onion and curry powder and stir for 3 minutes.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot with meatballs or spareribs for dipping.
