Steps:
- 1. Put cut up whole tomatoes put in a soup pot with the water.
- 2. Add prepared onions celery, carrots, bell pepper and cloves.
- 3. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, add sugar.
- 4. Simmer, partially covered, for 20 minutes. You might want to add a little water. Remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice.
- 5. Strain all into a bowl. Remove the cloves! Put veggies thru a food processer, And strain again. Add strained liquids to the soup. Salt, pepper and a sprinkle of parsley. Serve hot. With a grilled cheese sandwich.!! I use mayonnaise on the bread, instead of butter ...to grill in a skillet.
