- Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and spices; set aside. In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add the sugar, oil and pumpkin; mix well. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Stir in vanilla. , In an electric skillet, heat 1-1/2 in. of oil to 350°. Drop batter by rounded tablespoonfuls into oil; fry for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. , Drain on paper towels. Combine topping ingredients; roll doughnuts in topping while still warm.
