Spare Ribs and Sauerkraut image

Pork ribs
2 Tbsp oil
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 (20 oz.) sauerkraut
2 tablespoons brown sugar
8 med potatoes
1 1/3 cup water

Steps:

  • Brown ribs in oil. Add salt and pepper.
  • Put sauerkraut in bottom of pan. Sprinkle with sugar. Place ribs and potatoes over kraut. Add water and cover.
  • Cook till meat and potatoes are tender.
