SOUTHERN SAUSAGE AND EGG CASSEROLE image

Number Of Ingredients 9

4 hard cooked eggs
4 Tbsp butter
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup soft bread crumbs
dash pepper
2 cups milk
1 lb bulk pork sausage
1 lb can corn, drained

Steps:

  • Slice up two of the eggs and place in 1/2 qt casserole dish. In saucepan, blend butter and flour stirring constantly until thick and smoky brown in color. Stir in sausage and corn and brown. Pour sausage over eggs in casserole dish and top with remaining sliced eggs. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 375.
