2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup flour
1 tablespoon margarine
1 teaspoon cinnamon
confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9 inch tube pan.
  • Sift dry ingredients and set aside.
  • Beat margarine, sugar, eggs, and vanilla with mixer on high speed until light and fluffy.
  • At low speed, beat in flour mixture and sour cream, alternating between the two.
  • Beat until smooth, about 1 minute.
  • Pour into a pan and bake 50 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
  • For topping: toss ingredients lightly with fork until crumbly.
  • Remove cake from oven and sprinkle with topping.
  • Return to over for about 10 minutes.
  • Let cool in pan on rack 10 minutes.
  • Remove from pan and sprinkle crumb topped surface with confectioner's sugar.
  • Serve warm.
