SOUR CREAM AND BROCCOLI QUICHE image

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 cups whole milk
4 large Eggs
0.75 cup biscuit mix
4 ounces sour cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
10 ounce package chopped frozen broccoli
1 cup cubed ham or meat substitute (optional)
8 ounce package shredded Cheddar cheese
Mustard, onion powder/salt to taste
2 deep dish pie shells
Original recipe makes 8 Servings
Note: I halved the filling, thinking this was for two pies. But it only filled the 9" pie pan halfway, so added another half of the half and the final result was just to the top of the pan. (So make 3/4 of the recipe.)

Steps:

  • Preparation Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) In a large bowl, beat together milk, eggs, baking mix, sour cream and Parmesan cheese. Stir in broccoli, ham and Cheddar cheese. Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes or until mixture is golden brown and a toothpick comes out dry when inserted in the middle of the quiche.
