Soft And Chewy Caramel Popcorn image

i love popcorn especially when it's soft and chewy i sneak this into the movies sometimes for my little brothers and sisters they love it

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 bag(s) microwave popcorn, sift out the unpopped kernels
1/2 c butter
4 1/2 c sugar
2 1/2 c brown sugar12
12 oz evaporated milk
2 c heavy whipping cream
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 c light corn syrup

Steps:

  • 1. Bring to a boil butter, sugar, milk and cream. Then stir in salt and corn syrup. Boil to a softball stage. Stirring constantly.
  • 2. Pour over popped corn, mix well. Lay out to dry on a sprayed pan.
