SOCK IT TO ME CAKE image

This recipe was always made by my mother as a little girl and I would always help her, she and I still make this to this day. Love you MOM!!!

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 box yellow cake mix
1 c sour cream
1/3 c vegetable oil
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c water
4 eggs
1/2 c walnuts chopped
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp melted butter
1 Tbsp milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl combine the cake mix,sour cream,oil,sugar,water and eggs. Beat until smooth and set aside.
  • 2. In a separate bowl,combine the walnuts,brown sugar,cinnamon,melted butter,milk,and vannilla mixing well.
  • 3. Pour half the cake mixture in to a greased and floured bundt pan then add nut mixture. Then top with the rest of cake mixture. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until done. cool in pan before transfering onto cake plate.
