- 1. Place snow peas in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave on high 2 minutes; set aside. Microwave brown rice according to package instructions. Measure 1.5 cups of the rice into the bowl with the peas. (Reserve the rest for another use.) Add sesame oil and salt and pepper to taste to the bowl; stir with a fork to mix well.
