You do this starting from the top down and doing both sides of your body You can make them by hanging your herb plants upside down to dry then bundling them together you just tie them tight and light one end and let it smolder

However you can use the herbs in other ways like in steam on a stove, lighting a coal and adding the herbs to smolder on the hot coal, In a bonfire (need a lot for that), adding them to a perfume base. adding them to sweet oil and shaking every day for a week then straining and using as anointing oil.
