Time 1h35m

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 pork steak
1 large onion
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s) mushrooms (drained)
1/2 Tbsp horseradish (if desired)
vegetable or canola oil for browning

Steps:

  • 1. season steaks with your favorite seasoning (Mrs Dash, season salt or just salt & pepper)
  • 2. heat oil in large frying pan over high heat, brown steaks on both sides on high.
  • 3. chop onion & add onion, mushrooms & cream of mushroom soup to chops, redude to low & cover. Simmer over low heat for 1 to 1 1/4 hour. If using horseradish you can add that about 1/2 way thru cooking time and mix into the soup & onion mixture. It just adds a little kick but you do NOT need to use it.
  • 4. remove steaks to dinner plates & stir soup/onion/mushroom mix together for gravy. Excellent served over wide egg noodles or dumpling noodles.
