Our local meat market (Cason's in North Portland) has these glorious smoked turkey legs. Every time we go in there we try to think of what we can do with one of those things. Well, this is what I came up with and it's fantastic!

Steps:
- 1. Soak beans overnight and rinse. Add to 6+ qt. crock pot. Nestle smoked turkey leg into beans.
- 2. Pour in 2 cups chicken stock then cover beans with water.
- 3. Chop onion, celery and garlic. Add to pot with remaining ingredients.
- 4. Cook on low 5-6 hours until beans are tender and turkey is cooked.
- 5. Remove turkey carefully onto plate and cool enough to handle, then shred turkey meat back into crock pot. Serve and enjoy!
