Slow Cooker Italian Chicken Soup image

I had a taste for soup. I used ingredients I had on hand. This soup came out better than I expected. Healthy and delicious served on it's own or with bread.

3-4 pound(s) chicken breasts
8 cup(s) low sodium chicken broth
4 cup(s) carrot, sliced
4 cup(s) celery,sliced
2 28 oz can(s) low sodium diced tomatoes
1/4 cup(s) coarse sea salt
2 tablespoon(s) black pepper
1/4 cup(s) italian seasoning
3 tablespoon(s) garlic powder
3/4 cup(s) jarred minced garlic
3 tablespoon(s) parsley flakes
3 tablespoon(s) oregano, dried
1 tablespoon(s) lemon pepper
2 cup(s) gluten free pasta or any small shell pasta

Steps:

  • Defrost chicken breasts if needed. Cut in bite size chunks. Add to slow cooker with broth.
  • Slice carrots and celery. Add to slow cooker.
  • Add tomatoes and seasonings.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours.
  • Add pasta and cook on high for 30 minutes-4 hours until pasta is cooked. Serve with bread.
