Slow Cooker Guinness Sausages image

I like to slice the sausages on the diagonal before putting in the slow cooker. But I've also left them whole - both ways work. Serve over mashed potatoes....yummm!

Number Of Ingredients 7

8 medium farmers sausages (or any plump pork sausage)
2 large onions, sliced
2 Tbsp flour (heaping tbsp)

1 tsp bovril (optional)

  • 3. Pour the bovril, beef stock and beer over the top.
  • 4. Cook on high for 4 - 5 hours or low for 8 - 10 hours.
