SLOW COOKER CHEESY ITALIAN TORTELLINI image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb bulk Italian pork sausage
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 container (15 oz) refrigerated marinara sauce
1 can(14.5oz) diced tomatoes with Itailian seasoning
1 pkg (9 oz) cheese filled tortellini
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Step 1 In 10 inch skillet, cook beef and sausage over medium heat about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned. Step 2 Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, mix meat mixture, mushrooms, marinara sauce and tomatoes. Step 3 Cover, cook on low heat for 7 to 8 hours. Step 4 About 15 minutes before serving, add tortellini to slow cooker, stir gently to mix. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover; cook about 15 minutes longer or until tortellini are tender.
