Slow Cooker Butternut Squash Soup with Sausage image

Number Of Ingredients 7

12 ounces Butternut squash (pieces)
1 pound Italian sausage
6 ounces Spinach leaves
16 ounces Tomato sauce with basil, garlic and oregano
1/2 cup Pasta (uncooked small shell like macaroni, orzo, or small shells)
1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
2 cups Water

Steps:

  • Spray the inside of slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • Add the tomato sauce, water, squash and garlic powder. Stir to combine.
  • Pinch the sausage into bite-size pieces and place in slow cooker.
  • Cover, and cook on low for 7 1/2 hours, or 3 1/2 hours on high.
  • Stir in pasta and spinach; cover and cook on high 30 minutes more or until pasta is tender.
