- Cut ribs into 4-rib sections. Rinse ribs with water; gently shake off excess. Sprinkle coating mix onto ribs; toss to coat.
- Place water and ribs in slow cooker; sprinkle with any remaining coating mix. Cover with lid.
- Cook on LOW 5 to 6 hours (or on HIGH 2-1/2 to 3 hours). Add barbecue sauce; cover. Cook 15 min.
