Ingredients:
1 cup Fine White Plain Corn Meal
1 to 1 1/4 cups warm water
1/2 tsp salt
Vegetable oil for frying

Steps:

  • Combine corn meal, water and salt; stir to make a batter. Pour 1/4-inch of oil into a 10-inch skillet and place over medium high heat. When the oil is hot, drop in batter by the tablespoonful. Fry each side of patty until crispy and well browned, 3-5 minutes total. Drain on a paper towel and serve.
