Simple Chocolate Sauce image

This is a very simple no frills chocolate sauce that everybody should be able to make at home with what they have already in the cupboard.

Number Of Ingredients 0

Steps:

  • To make the chocolate sauce, tip the chocolate and butter into a heatproof bowl and place over a saucepan of simmering hot water. (take care to ensure the bottom of the bowl is not in contact with the water). Stir until the chocolate has combined with the butter.
  • Add one of the optional ingredients and stir
  • Serve Immediately.
