Seven Fruit Salad image

My oldest son doesn't appreciate sugary, sweet fruit salads and requested I make one that was fresh without all the unnatural sweet stuff such as marshmallows, puddings and cream cheese with added sugar, etc... I found a solution which satisfied his taste buds.... and satisfied my prep time of not chopping fruit for an hour or...

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 can(s) (15 ounces each) reduced-sugar sliced peaches, drained
2 can(s) (11 ounces each) mandarin oranges
1 can(s) (20 ounces) unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained
1 c reduced sugar cherry pie filling
1 c fresh strawberries, cleaned and halved
1 c fresh blueberries, cleaned
1 c fresh green seedless grapes

Steps:

  • 1. In large bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients and mix. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir gently. The above salad is beautiful yet it is very satisfying. *NOTE* My sweet tooth rules so it prefers regular cherry pie filling than the reduced sugar. (Unfortunately, I usually make this fruit for Scott.)
