I started my cooking career as a salad girl in a local seafood restaurant called the "Seafarer's Inn" in Lockport, NY. One of my jobs was to make this dressing by the gallon weekly.

Steps:
- 1. In a medium bowl, blend mayonnaise with vinegar, sugar and ketchup.
- 2. Fold in the relish and egg. Cover and refrigerate.
- 3. Spoon over iceberg lettuce wedges, salad greens or sliced tomatoes. Makes about 1 3/4 cups.
