SCOTCH SHORTBREAD COOKIES image

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour

Steps:

  • 1. Cut butter into small chunks. 2. Add sugar and mix together thoroughly until very smooth. 3. Add flour gradually. Mix with hands until it makes one smooth ball. 4. Chill for one hour. 5. Roll out on a floures surface until 1/2 to 1/3 inch thick 6. Cut in small circles about 1 1/2 inch. 7. Place on cookie sheet 8. Poke with fork. 9. Bake at 325 for 10 - 15 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
