Scalloped Tomatoes image

This is a great way to use fresh tomatoes. We love this as a side dish. It is very easy to make with just a few ingredients.

5 medium fresh tomatoes
1 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 cups of texas toast garlic butter croutons
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Grease the bottom of an 8x8 glass baking dish with butter. Cube tomatoes and toss with bread crumbs, seasoning, and then top with cheese. Bake at 375.
