Scalloped Apple Bake image

Another great find on the Pepperidge Farm stuffing mix package. Will be making this week. Hope you enjoy!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Have a blessed day. Gobble til you wobble!!!! Enjoy!!

Number Of Ingredients 10

1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons orange zest
1 teaspooon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 1/2 cups cornbread stuffing
1/2 cup pecans
16 oz. can whole-berry cranberry sauce
1/3 cup orange juice
4 large apples, peeled and sliced

Steps:

  • 1. Combine butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, zest and pecans and stuffing mix.
  • 2. Combine apples, cranberry sauce and juice.
  • 3. Mix 1/2 of stuffing mixture into apples, cranberry sauce and juice.
  • 4. Spread into a buttered casserole dish.
  • 5. Sprinkle rest of stuffing mixture over top.
  • 6. Bake @ 375 for 40 minutes.
