Savory Pork Chops image

These pork chops are so moist and savory and quick and easy too. This is one of my go to meals on a busy work week evening.

Number Of Ingredients 6

6 - pork chops, 1/2" thick
1 can(s) old fashioned tomato and rice soup
1/4 cup(s) water
1 - green pepper, cut in strips
1 - onion, chopped
1/8 teaspoon(s) white pepper

Steps:

  • In skillet over medium-high heat, in 1 Tablespoon hot oil, cook half of the chops 10 minutes or browned on both sides. Remove; set aside. Repeat with remaining chops. Pour off fat.
  • In same skillet, combine soup, water, green pepper, onion, thyme and pepper. Heat to boiling. Return chops to skillet. Cover; cook over low heat 5 minutes or until chops are no longer pink, stirring often.
