Sautéed Mushrooms image

Enjoy these delicious sautéed mushrooms sprinkled with parsley that are ready in 25 minutes - perfect for a side dish.

2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 lb mushrooms, sliced (6 cups)
Chopped fresh parsley, if desired

Steps:

  • In 12-inch skillet, heat all ingredients except mushrooms and parsley over medium-high heat until butter is melted. Stir in mushrooms.
  • Cook 4 to 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until mushrooms are light brown. Sprinkle with parsley.
