Sausage stuffed portabella mushrooms image

I was looking for something quick, easy and delicious to make. I love Portabellas and I wanted to try to stuff them with something really delicious. This recipe of pork sausage and all its seasonings was perfect.

1 pkg country pork sausage
1/2 large red bell pepper diced
1/2 c gruyere cheese smoked shredded
1 egg
6 large portabella mushrooms
1 Tbsp garlic chopped
1 scallop diced
1/3 c parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp weber roasted garlic and herb seasoning
1 tsp pepper

Steps:

  • 1. Wipe portabellas with a paper towel and take out the stem and gills. Spray outside and inside with a vegetable oil. Place on Broiler.
  • 2. Mix all the other ingredients in a bowl and split into 6 equal parts. Take ball of ingredients and flatten into the portabella mushroom.
  • 3. Cook at 350 for 40 minutes.
