SAUSAGE AND SAGE DRESSING image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 med. onion, chopped
4 celery stalks, chopped
1 stick butter, melted
1 lb bulk sausage (Jimmy Dean's)
1 pkg herb stuffing crumbs (Pepperidge Farm)
2 T fresh sage, chopped (or to taste)
Chicken broth or water
Salt and Pepper

Steps:

  • Sauté onion and celery in butter. Brown sausage and drain. In large bowl, combine onion mixture, sausage and stuffing crumbs. Add sage, s&p and chicken broth to moisten to desired consistency. Stuff turkey or bake in separate casserole or foil packet.
