Sausage and Pepper Hero image

Number Of Ingredients 7

4 sweet Italian sausage links
4 hot Italian sausage links
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 large red pepper, cored seeded and sliced thin
1 large green pepper, cored seeded and sliced thin
1 large onion, sliced thin
4 Italian hero rolls

Steps:

  • heat skillet over high heat, add sausages in batches, brown on all sides, remove
  • heat oil, add peppers and onion, season with salt and pepper
  • cook about 10 minutes until soft, turning frequently and pressing down
  • slice sausages one inch
