Samantha's Shrimp and Sausage Boil image

Gotta love sausage and shrimp! This recipe can be doubled or tripled if you have a larger crowd to feed. When you're done cooking this, cover the table in newspaper and then dump the pot onto the table so everyone can help themselves!

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 (3 ounce) package shrimp boil seasoning, in the bag
3 tablespoons Old Bay Seasoning
2 tablespoons Season-All salt
1 medium onion
1 -2 lb red potatoes
1 lemon
4 baby sweet corn cobs
1 lb kielbasa
1 lb uncooked shrimp

Steps:

  • Boil a large pot of water, add the crab/shrimp boil, the Old Bay seasoning and the Season All.
  • Cut your onion into quarters and put it in the pot along with your potatoes.
  • Quarter one of the lemons and add it to the pot.
  • Simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Add your corn and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Add your shrimp and sausage and cook until shrimp are done, about 4 minutes, shrimp will be pink and opaque, don't overcook.
  • Drain and serve.
