SALTED PEANUT CHEWS
Steps:
- In a large bowl combine first 3 base ingredients and mix until crumbly. Spread in bottom of an ungreased pan and bake for 12-18 min. Remove from oven and top with marshmallows. Return to oven for 1-2 min, or until marshmallows start to puff. Remove. In a large saucepan, combine corn syrup, margarine, vanilla, and chips and stirring constantly, heat until chips are just melted and the mixture is smooth. remove from the heat and stir in the cereal and nuts. Immediately spoon warm topping over marshmallows and spread to cover. Chill and cut into bars. Freezes well.
