Salsa Skillet Halibut image

Fishing for a quick fish skillet? We caught a big one over here-and it's a winner, with halibut fillets, an easy from-scratch salsa and melted cheese.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 large tomato, chopped
3 green onions, sliced
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. olive oil
4 halibut fillets (1 lb.)
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Steps:

  • Combine tomatoes, onions, cilantro and pepper; set aside.
  • Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add fish; cook 3 to 5 min. until browned on bottom. Carefully turn over; top with tomato mixture. Cook 2 to 3 min. or until fish flakes easily with fork.
  • Sprinkle with cheese; cover. Let stand 2 min. or until cheese is melted.
