Salmon Appetizer Ball image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese softened
1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh
1 tablespoon onion finely chopped
1 teaspoon horseradish prepared
1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 (15 1/2-ounce) can red salmon
2 to 3 tablespoons parsley minced fresh
1/4 cup pecans chopped
Crackers

Steps:

  • In a small mixer bowl at medium speed, beat cream cheese, lemon juice, onion, horseradish and liquid smoke until well mixed.Drain and flake salmon, remove any skin and bone. At low speed, beat into cheese mixture until well blended. Chill until firm enough to handle. Shape into one large or two small mounds with wet hands. Place on serving plate(s).Pat surface with parsley and nuts. Cover and chill.Serve with crackers.
