Russell's Moose Ribs image

Russ is a hunting guide up in BC, Canada..He swears by these ribs.. Can use beef, elk or deer also. "Hope you enjoy this"...Russ

Number Of Ingredients 12

4 lb ribs
1 c sliced onion
1 c sliced celery
1 c ketchup
1 c water
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 c vinegar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp soy sauce

Steps:

  • 1. Boil spare ribs until tender. (mix with pickling spice an 1/2 cup vinegar optional) added to water.
  • 2. When ribs are tender, pour off water. Cook sauce while waiting for ribs to cook.
  • 3. Add sauce and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, basting with sauce 3 or 4 times.
