Cake:
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
5 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup rum
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Rum Glaze:
1/2 cup butter
2 oz. water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup rum

Steps:

  • Mix cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, rum and water. Add nuts, mix well. Grease and flour bundt pan. Pour batter into pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool. Glaze: Melt butter, water, and sugar. Boil 2 minutes. Add rum. Punch holds in cake with ice pick. Pour 1/2 of glaze over cake. Take cake out of pan. Make more holes in cake and pour rest of glaze over cake.
