RUM CAKE image

Another one of my mom's recipes she and my father use to belong to a group called nailbenders and they would go and build churchs for different counties in Arkansas. So she has really good recipes,

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 box yellow cake mix
1 small vanilla instant jello pudding
4 large eggs
1/2 c rum
1/2 water
1/2 c crisco oil
HOT RUM 1SAUCE
1 stick butter
1/4 c rum
1 c sugar
1/4 c water

Steps:

  • 1. Grease and flour a bundt pan. Combine all ingredients and beat with hand mixer for 3 minutes.
  • 2. Pour cake ingredients into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven and while still in pan pour hot sauce over cake.
  • 3. Let cake cool in pan for 1 hour before removing from pan.
