Steps:
- Cream together butter & sugars til light and fluffy. Add eggs, orange peel and beat together well. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Ad dry ingredients, alternately with buttermilk to creamed texture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in oatmeal & bananas. Pour batter into two greased & floured 8" layer pans. Bake at 350, 35 to 40 minutes.
