2 lbs. pork shoulder cut in bite sized chunks.
or, slab of pork spareribs (crosscut in 1 1/4-1 1/2" chunks)
3/4 C Soy Sauce
1/2 C. Corn starch
3 T. ketchup
1/4 C. vinegar
1/2 C. dry sherry
1/4 C. sugar
Sliced carrot
Green pepper
Celery
Onion
Pineapple chunks.

Steps:

  • Cut pork in bite sized chunks. Coat pork in soy sauce, and cornstarch. Lightly brown pork. Add ketchup, vinegar, sherry, and sugar. Simmer pork, low heat for 2 hours. 30-45 min before serving, add: Pineapple (ok to add juice), and desired vegetables
