Red Cabbage with Balsamic Vinegar and Sultanas image

Great, healthy accompaniment for a number of dishes.

Steps:

  • Prepare the red cabbage by cutting it in half, removing the core and shredding it with a large knife. Then place the cabbage in a large pan containing around 1/2 inch of boiling water. Allow to simmer and stir every 5-10 minutes. After around 35-40 minutes cabbage should be tender, with a slight bite.
  • Drain the red cabbage and mix in sultanas. Add balsamic vinegar to taste and stir in.
