One of my favourite restaurants (Northwoods Inn) makes a red cabbage salad that I really love. So I decided to try and replicate what they serve. This salad is simple. You can also make big batches of it as it keeps fresh for quite a while. Its perfect for spring and summer as its cool and refreshing.

Steps:
- 1. Shred the cabbage into thin slices, mix with olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, seasoning salt, pepper and onion powder.
- 2. Put in a container that has a lid and let it refrigerate for at least 48 hours. If you wait 4-5 days its even better.
