Really Easy Smashed Potatoes image

These glorious garlic smashed potatoes have a secret ingredient that makes them extra glorious: Neufchatel cheese.

1-1/2 lb. red potatoes (about 5), cut into 1-inch chunks
2 cloves garlic, peeled
4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed
1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Cook potatoes and garlic in boiling water in large saucepan 15 to 20 min. or until tender.
  • Drain potato mixture; return to pan.
  • Add remaining ingredients; mash until Neufchatel is melted and potatoes are desired consistency.
