Ravioli Lasagna image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 pound(s) ground beef
1 small onion chopped
4 clove(s) garlic minced
32 ounce(s) jar marinara
2 cup(s) whole milk ricotta
1 large egg
1 cup(s) grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup(s) fresh basil chopped
24 ounce(s) bag frozen cheese ravioli
2 cup(s) mozzarella cheese shredded

Steps:

  • Preheat oven 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 baking pan.
  • In a skillet on the stove add the ground beef onion and garlic. Cook until the beef is no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper. Add the marinara and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • In a bowl add the ricotta cheese, egg, 1/4 cup of the parmesan and basil. Season with salt and pepper and stir to combine.
  • Spread 1/3 of the meat sauce in the bottom of the baking pan.Top with a single layer of the ravioli. Add half of the meat sauce then half of the ricotta mixture then half of the Mozzarella cheese and the rest of the parmesan cheese.
  • Top with the remaining ravioli then the remaining meat sauce then the remaining ricotta mixture and the remaining cheese
  • Cover the pan with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bakd 15 more minutes.
